Hon. Israel R. Bruce has been a Member of Parliament since 2019 when he first served as an Opposition Senator. In November of 2025 Mr. Bruce was elected as the Parliamentary Representative of South Central Windward constituency and was appointed the role of Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Transformation. He is a UK trained Barrister, having done his undergraduate and post graduate studies with Wolverhampton University and University of West England, respectively. Minister Bruce is former Head of Chambers at Bruce Law Chambers Inc., St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Bruce & Associates Law Chambers, British Virgin Islands.

He is a committed Sports administrator having served as General Secretary of the SVGFF, Chairman of the SVGSBCA, and is currently the President of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Chess Federation.   Hon. Israel R. Bruce has a track record in leadership and leadership development and has served as a Qualified Teacher.  The former Lauders Primary and Adelphi Secondary School student continues to serve his people with pride and is deeply committed to social justice issues.

His commitment to national development is without doubt. As Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Transformation he sets his eyes sharply on the reduction of food importation, marketing opportunities for our farmers, combatting predial larceny and providing infrastructural support tin aid of quality output by Vincentian farmers.
