Technical Specialist at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture, Michael Dalton, is encouraging Bee-keepers here to explore the many opportunities which are available within the sector.

Mr. Dalton was speaking a ceremony this week to mark the official introduction of the Peron Hive Perm-apiculture Technology.

The Technology provides Bees with chemical free foraging and organically managed hives to produce the purest honey comb.

He said farmers must seek new avenues to ensure the continued growth of the industry.

Mr. Dalton said his organization is committed to working with Bee-Keepers to further their developmental efforts.
