The Forestry Service in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, said it is continuing its work to ensure the protection of the country’s biodiversity and watershed areas.

The assurance came from Director of Forestry, Mr. Fitzgerald Providence, who told NBC news that this very important work was ongoing before the explosive volcanic eruption of La Soufriere earlier this year.
