Speaking on NBC Radio, Minister Caesar said, "There is a possibility that we can produce more sea moss in the country if we add the leeward side of the country for its production." He also noted that "ninety-nine percent (99%) of the sea moss currently produced comes from the Northern and Southern Grenadines, with a greater percentage from the Southern Grenadines."

The minister also mentioned that the expert is from a neighboring island and should be here next week to conduct a survey on what can be done in the constituencies, namely East Kingstown, Central Kingstown, South Leeward, Central Leeward, and North Leeward, pertaining to sea moss production.
