  Welcome to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry & Labour.
The Ministry is the institutional body of the state responsible for the 
formulation, articulation and implementation of all policies and plans relating to Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry & Labour. 
The administrative arm of this Ministry is responsible for:
   - The co-ordination of all programmes of the various Departments, Divisions and Units.
  - The maintenance of communication with local, regional and international bodies affecting the functions of the Ministry.
  - The administration of revenue and expenditure transactions approved by Parliament.

The Rural Transformation UnIt in Collaboration With The Agriculture Input Warehouse Continue to Equip Schools With Tools to Ensure Agriculture Sustainability

On Thursday, 11th September, 2025 - A handing-over ceremony where agricultural tools, equipment and seedlings were distributed to schools across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to enhance the production and productivity of school gardens convened at the Agricultural Input Warehouse premises in Kingstown.

The Ministry of Agriculture, the Rural Transformation Unit within the Ministry, and the Agricultural Input Warehouse Ltd. collaborated on this initiative to support their respective school gardening programs.

Prior to the distribution, Agricultural Assistant within the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Rodwell Charles, and Field Extension Officer of the Agricultural Input Warehouse, Mr. Leymahrr Campbell, made an assessment of schools across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in order to supply them with the necessary agricultural tools and support required.

At the distribution ceremony, a number of students representing their various schools were in attendance.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by Accountant of the Agricultural Input Warehouse, Mrs. Shawna Shallow, while the Financial Controller and Human Resource Manager of the Agricultural Input Warehouse, Ms. Sharen Bascombe delivered the feature address. Chief Agricultural Officer within the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour, Mr. Renato Gumbs, shared remarks on behalf of the Ministry, while Agricultural Assistant, Mr. Rodwell Charles, delivered the vote of thanks.
