As the world marks the 80th commemoration of United Nations FAO World Food Day, the call for stronger, more resilient Agrifood systems has taken center stage.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and labour launched its activities to commemorate World Food Day 2025 on Thursday, October 9th, at the Grenadines House conference room.
On Friday, 5th September, 2025: Sixty (60) pure-bred rabbits were distributed to twelve (12) livestock farmers under the UBEC-CERC SVG Food Insecurity Project at the Dumbarton Agricultural Station.
On Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at the ECTAD Packing Plant at Greiggs, CARDI, in collaboration with ECTAD and COLEAD conducted a demonstration with the objective of substituting two (2) biological fungicides, namely, Lime Sulphur and Serenade in place of Ridomil.
