Forestry Supervisor Bradford Latham Appeal to Public on Disrupted Wildlife Species

The Forestry Services of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the Ministry of Agriculture is appealing to the public to refrain from capturing and disrupting wildlife species such as the Iguana (Green Iguana and Pink Rhino Iguana), Armadillo (tattoo), Agouti and Opossum (manicou), in the current closed season.

Forestry Services And UNDP Ridge to Reef Program Conduct Assessment And Training Activities on Forest Fires Prevention And Response

A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Transformation, Forestry, Fisheries, Industry and Labour, alongside representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Ridge to Reef Project, were in Union Island from May 6 to 8, 2025 to conduct assessments and training activities on forest fires prevention and response.

CARDI Conduct Demonstration on Fertiliser Application in Several Dasheen Varieties

 Approximately forty (40) farmers, along with CARDI representatives and Extension Officers gathered on Daphine Cato’s farm located at Montreal in Agricultural Region 2 to build their capacity in the recommended spacing and prescribed proportion of fertiliser to be applied to two different varieties of dasheen.
